The number of monthly compulsory close corporation liquidations in August 2023 slightly increased to 7 liquidations from 5 liquidations in August 2022. The number of monthly liquidations in 2022 varied throughout the year. A similar trend to the number of monthly compulsory company liquidations was followed, and a gradual decrease occurred from October to December 2022. In 2020, a total of 106 liquidations was recorded and in 2021 this amount decreased by approximately 39%, which resulted in a total of 65 liquidations. In 2022, the number of liquidations increased by 40% resulting in 91 liquidations.
