From January 2022 to July 2022, the transport volumes of commodities across Ukrainian rails dropped as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The most significant decline recorded was in iron ore shipments which decreased from approximately *** million metric tons to *** metric tons in the specified period. In July 2022, coal was the primary good transported by Ukranian Railways.
