This statistic displays the leading five industries.
Values refer to all countries that participated in the BRI by signing the Memorandum of Understanding of the BRI in that specific year. Since 2022, official Chinese statistics on BRI countries commonly refer to this broader term of BRI countries. Formerly, Chinese statistics on "countries along the BRI" normally referred to only a selection of participating countries, thereby giving lower values. As of December 2024, around 150 countries had signed the BRI MoU.
