In 2020, the total revenue generated by medical technology companies in Italy amounted to over 18.6 billion euros. On average, an Italian medtech company generated some 82 million euros in revenue. This statistic shows how this figure varied according to the macro-region where companies were located. A medical technology company in the north-west of the country generated nearly 117 million euros in revenue on average, while this figure was equal to around 33 million euros for a company located in the south and on the islands.
