In 2023, about 9.6 million services were rendered in local mental health facilities (Centro di Salute Mentale - CSM) across the Italian territory. This statistic shows the average number of services rendered per patient in such facilities and how this figure changes according to different regions. Friuli-Venezia Giulia was the region with the highest average of services rendered per patient, with roughly 33. This figure was almost double the Italian average of around 13.6 services per patient.
