Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine that started on February 24, 2022, many international information technology (IT) companies announced the suspension of their activities in Russia. Among them was Dell, which generated approximately billion Russian rubles in the country in 2021. Other firms operating in the IT sector, such as Accenture, Luxoft, SoftwareOne, and ABBYY, transferred their shares to local investors.
