In 2022, the number of foreign guests in tourist hotels in Herzliyya in Israel amounted to 80.5 thousand, which was a significant increase of about three times the number of guests compared to the previous year. During most of the observed period, the number of foreign guests gradually rose, while in 2020 a significant drop was registered. This decline occurred due to the introduction of tourism restrictions by the Israeli government following the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in March of that year.
