Benin and Cote d'Ivoire were Africa's leading exporters of palm oil in 2018. That year, the countries exported 460,000 metric tons and 200,000 metric tons of the agricultural product, respectively. Other main exporters of palm oil in the continent included Ghana, Kenya, and Togo.
