In November 2021, the European Union (EU-27) imported nearly 1.5 billion cubic meters of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Algeria. This was the highest import volume registered since May 2021. Previously, the import trade had peaked at over 1.7 billion cubic meters of LNG in April 2020. Algeria supplied LNG mainly to France, Italy, and Spain.
