In 2022, the natural gas supply in Ghana reached roughly three million metric tons of oil equivalent. This was a peak considering the volume delivered from 2015 onwards. In 2021, the energy supply from natural gas reached slightly over 2.7 million metric tons of oil equivalent. That year, natural gas rents represented approximately 0.4 percent of Ghana's GDP.
