In 2022, the most common comorbidity among people treated for addictive disorders in France was another psychiatric illness and especially mood disorders. The prevalence of such another psychiatric illness among people treated for addictive disorders reached 29 percent during that year. Furthermore, one out of four people treated for addiction in France also suffered from cardiovascular disease.
