As of March 04, 2022, Lesotho administered a total of close to 926.8 thousand doses of the vaccine against the coronavirus (COVID-19). The country started the vaccination campaign on March 10, 2021, with the first 410 doses from Covishield, widely known as AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine, manufactured by the Serum Institute of India. This was after Lesotho received 36 thousand doses via the COVAX initiative on March 4, 2021.
