According to the National Sample Survey **** round (NSSO-71) and **** round (NSSO-75), the majority of households in India were deprived of primary healthcare, with respectively almost ** percent of households reportedly deprived in insurance coverage. Meanwhile, the share of households deprived in each respective dimension seemed to have declined over the years. However, a noticeably large share of households remained deprived in the standard of living dimension, such as cooking and sanitation, as well as in income.
