As of June 2021, Casablanca-Settat maintained the majority of new companies that were entered into Morocco's trade registry. the region registered more than 14 thousand legal entities and two thousand physical persons. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra followed with around 5.9 thousand legal entities and 2.5 natural persons. Comparatively, enterprise registrations in the region of Guelmim-Oued Noun was the lowest in the same period. Overall, Morocco had more than 57 thousand newly created enterprises by the end of the 2nd quarter of 2021.
