In the fourth quarter of 2022, the youth unemployment rate in Tunisia stood at 38.8 percent. This represented an increment compared to the previous quarter. In the period examined, unemployment among the young population aged 15 to 24 years peaked at 42.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
