The European questionnaire on Information and Communication Technologies Data reveals that there exists a disparity between the internet usage of people according to gender. This disparity although present in most countries, differs widely in its severity.
By 2020, 50 percent of female internet users in Serbia used the internet to look up health information on the internet. Among men this share was lower with only 38 percent. Compared to 2019, 13 percent less men and eight percent less women replied that they used the internet to inform themselves about health and related issues.
