In celebration of the Euro 2020/21 competition, ��ƽ�� published the Celebrity Index report. The Celebrity Index - Euro 2021 ranked all competing teams and players by their celebrity status. Metrics that are used to weight this ranking include social media following, their transfer market value as well as the sentiment and number of global online news articles that mention any player competing. The team with the highest combined Instagram and Twitter following was Portugal, with over 416 million followers - the majority of which can be attributed to Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, the biggest footballing celebrity in the world.
