As of October 2020, pregnant women with COVID-19 were more likely than pregnant women without the disease to have died (from all causes, not necessarily from COVID), be admitted to ICU and to give birth to a preterm (less than 37 weeks of pregnancy). Having COVID-19 (compared to without) also increased the rate of stillbirth and infant admission to a neonatal unit among pregnant women. This statistic depicts rates of select maternal and perinatal outcomes among pregnant women with vs without COVID-19 worldwide based on findings from December 2019 to October 2020.
