The publication of the retail price inflation rate for furniture has been discontinued by the National Bureau of Statistics of China in the beginning of 2023. Alternatively, the consumer price index for furniture may be observed.

In 2021, the retail price index for furniture in China ranged at 101.3 percent compared to the previous year. The inflation in furniture prices has been mostly below consumer price inflation in China in recent years.
