The most important due diligence areas in completing a successful M&A transaction in 2020 were the assessment of assumptions behind the target's predictions, and the quality of underlying earnings and operating cash flow. Only percent of respondents considered that due diligence in sustainability areas was relevant for a successful M&A deal in Romania.
