As of 2021, most of the surveyed businesses in Canada were approved for or received the Emergency Business Account (**** percent). The Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) provides loans of up to ** thousand Canadian dollars to small businesses and not-for-profits. In addition, some **** percent of enterprises were eligible for the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS). The CEWS is addressed to businesses which suffered a loss in revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic. This subsidy is meant to cover part of the employees' wages.
