Among readers of American comics of all ages, superhero themed comics, such as Spider-Man or Batman, were the most popular type of comics in France in 2020. Around ** percent of all comics readers aged 7 to 15 years old declared reading them. This figure slightly decreased to around **** among people aged 16 to 75 years. In addition to that, the share of people of both age groups who read at least once Sci-fi comics in the past twelve months was just the same, at over ** percent.
