According to a survey from 2020, ** percent of girls and women who have heard of female genital mutilation (FGM) thinks the practice should stop. Female genital mutilation is internationally recognized as a human rights violation affecting girls and women worldwide. Today, one in three adolescent girls are still undergoing FMG.
