As of March 2020, more than eight out of ten Brazilians agreed that the use of fossil fuel products such as gasoline and diesel had a negative impact on air quality and climate change, according to a survey conducted in the country. In addition, nearly ** percent of respondents believed these fuels also had a negative impact in their personal financial situation. Meanwhile, around half of Brazilians surveyed believed petroleum derived fuels had a positive impact on the Brazilian economy.
