The share of food retail sales made online in predominantly food stores in Great Britain saw its biggest growth in January 2021, when the coronavirus (COVID-19) containment measures were tightened in the United Kingdom. Since then, the proportion of online food retail slowly decreased and then remained stable at around percent in March 2026.
