Annual growth rate of merchandise imports 2019, by region in Africa
As of 2019, Africa registered an increase in merchandise imports only in the Western region of the continent. In the West, the growth rate was by **** percent. In the other African regions, goods acquisitions in the international market slowed down. Overall in Africa, merchandise imports also declined.
