In the first six months of 2020, foreign investors were fairly active in raising money for the startup market in Brazil. All of the venture capital investors, who raised money in the last stages (series D-F), came from outside the country. Earlier funding stages had a smaller participation of foreign investors, with the first stage, the pre-seed stage, having experienced only about ** percent of raised funds stemming from foreign investors.
