This was an increase to the corresponding quarter of 2023, as the value added by the industry to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 1.5 percent. In general, the growth rate of the manufacturing sector in Kenya fluctuated strongly, reaching its lowest value in the second quarter of 2020 with a score of -5.1 percent.
