Seven different components were analyzed to build a complete picture of a country’s digital readiness, including: technology infrastructure and technology adoption, ease of doing business, human capital development, business and government investment, basic human needs, and start-up environment. Each country’s score provides insight into its overall progress towards digital readiness with a possible maximum score of 25.
"Activate" stage averaged a digital readiness score of 6.24. It means that the country is in the earliest steps of their digital journey.
"Accelerate" stage averaged a digital readiness score of 11.82. It means that the country that had taken some steps forward, but had significant opportunities to accelerate or improve in their digital readiness.
"Amplify" stage averaged a digital readiness score of 17.89. However, this stage is no guarantee of ongoing digital readiness leadership.
