In April 2020, almost 40 percent of surveyed large companies in Russia stated that they operated in the regular mode, with employees working from their workplaces during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The largest share of businesses where all workers did their job remotely was recorded among medium-sized enterprises, measuring at over 55 percent. Over one quarter of small companies stopped operating during the crisis.
