An October 2019 survey of partnered adults in the United States found that ** percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 years had looked through their current partner's cellphone without that person's knowledge. In comparison, only ** percent of U.S. adults aged 65 and older in relationships reported that they had done the same thing.
