The cultural sector in Norway is expected to have lost 36 percent of its revenue as of April 2020 due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. When considering the different cultural sectors, however, the economic loss varies. With a loss of 50 percent, the music industry was particularly negatively affected. On the other hand, the literature sector experienced losses of 23 percent.
