Milan was the leading city for office real estate investment in Italy in 2021. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, investment into the offices asset class decreased from 3.9 billion euros to 2.3 billion euros, largely concentrating in Milan. Rome also increased its share of investment, from seven to 12 percent.
