Due to the coronavirus in Spain in 2020, temporary layoffs or ERTEs, as they are known in Spanish, stood out as the most popular employment measure taken by companies in the sector of manufacturing hospitality machinery. Just over 80 percent of the companies in the sector had requested this labor procedure before Easter.
