The training schools in China can be divided into CCAR-141 aviation schools and CCAR-61 training institutions.The CCAR-141 schools have a larger scale of aircrafts and instructors while the scale of CCAR-61 institutions are comparatively with a small size.

Besides, only the CCAR-141 institutions can provide Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) integrated courses.
