As specified by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the ATP Race To London score differ from the FedEx ATP rankings, colloquially called by tennis fans as 'the world rankings'. In fact, the world ranking takes into account the players' best tournament results over the preceding 52 weeks. On the other hand, the ATP Race To London is based on the results of a single year. In this sense, the top eight players of the year will qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals tournament, beginning in London on November 15, 2020.
