In March 2020, a decrease in the overall economic index among the main sectors of the economy was recorded in comparison to March 2019. The sharpest deterioration was observed in the industrial processing and services sector in Poland. The industry most vulnerable to losses caused by the coronavirus pandemic is the hotel and catering industry, where a downturn of 22 percent year-on-year was recorded.
