As of 5 March 2020, the number of beds in infectious wards and hospitals fell in 13 voivodeships, and only in three voivodeships the count of such beds increased (Dolnośląskie, Lubuskie, and Pomorskie). In the voivodships with the highest concentration of coronavirus patients, the number of beds mostly decreased. Hospitals and voivodeship offices declare that, if necessary, they will increase the number of beds in infectious wards, adjusting them to the needs.
