In 2018, Sweden was the most important export country to Finland with around 22 percent share (154 million euros) in clothing, textile, and footwear trade. It was followed by Germany with the share of ten percent (81 million euros) of the total exports. Other major export destinations were the neighbouring countries Russia (60 million euros) and Estonia (59 million euros). Altogether, exports to other countries with smaller shares than four percent made up almost half of the total exported clothing, textile and footwear.
