On 4 March 2020, the first case of coronavirus occurred in Poland. On 12 March, WIG20 at Warsaw Stock Exchange recorded the worst session this year. Decreases reached over 13 percent, and all companies listed in the index were in the red. Also, the index closed the day at 1,305.73 pts., which means that it was the lowest trading session since 2009.
