The figures are calculated as the sum of the consumption of petrochemicals in steamcracking, consumption of olefins quantified from refinery production, reformat for petrochemicals leaving the refineries, and other petroleum bases for aromatics production, minus pyrolysis gasoline returned to the refinery, heavy fuel oil returned to the refinery, and gas and hydrogen sent back to the refinery.
