According to a 2019 survey from , ** percent of respondents in the United States said that employers not doing enough to close the gender pay gap is one of the leading factors stopping women from achieving equality. Women not being promoted to senior positions, employers not helping women balance work and care responsibilities, the government not promoting equality, and men not helping achieve equality rounded out the top five reasons.
