In 2021, guest houses in the Italian municipality of Rome recorded the highest number of domestic arrivals among all non-hotel establishments of the Italian capital. The number of domestic arrivals in Rome increased in 2021 compared to 2020, but their number was still quite far from pre-pandemic levels. Overall, domestic arrivals in Rome's non-hotel establishments amounted to roughly 380 thousand in 2021, declining from almost 670 thousand in 2019.
