Meat alternatives in Italy recorded sales value growth of 8.5 percent in the first ten months of 2023. In 2022, growth in sales value of plant-based meats had been higher at close to 17 percent. Sales volume, on the other hand, shower lower growth, with an increase of four percent in 2023, and 10.4 percent in 2022.
