Chilies from the state of Jammu and Kashmir accounted for over 80 million Indian rupees in the Indian economy in fiscal year 2021. This value was lower than the previous year's contribution of chilies from the state. Andhra Pradesh was the largest contributor for chilies to the agricultural gross value added among other states in the south Asian country, followed by Telangana.
