In 2024, French households purchased around 12.2 billion euros worth of organic food products. Savory grocery products and fresh fruit and vegetables, accounted for the largest part of those purchases (each around 17 percent), and non-alcoholic beverages were the type of organic products bought the least ( 4.1 percent).
