According to a survey by in February 2025, ** percent of the respondents in Thailand stated that they did not do so, as plant-based alternatives cost more than the original and were not readily available in their proximity. Comparatively, about 1* percent of participants claimed that they did not do so, as they were not sure about the ingredients in the plant-based alternatives compared to the original.
