In 2015, Puerto Rico ranked first by value added by the services industry to the gross domestic product among the 23 territories presented in the ranking. Puerto Rico's value added amounted to U.S. dollars, while Panama (2024) and Costa Rica (2024), the second and third territories, had records amounting to U.S. dollars and U.S. dollars, respectively.
