In 2018, most green jobs in Italy were found in the North-West. In particular, the number of green jobs in this macro-area amounted to over one million. On the contrary, South-Italy recorded the lowest amount of occupancies.
Green jobs are jobs which contribute to benefit the environment. For instance, working in the sector of renewable energy or sustainable manufacturing is considered a green job.
