The market share of plug-in hybrid passenger cars of new registered vehicles in Flanders (Belgium) increased significantly between 2013 and 2017, before decreasing again from 2018 onwards. As of 2019, the market share of plug-in hybrids amounted to 1.99 percent. The highest share was reached in 2017, when three percent of all registered passenger cars were plug-in hybrid vehicles in Flanders.
